I’m a Very Healthy. I Have About 5 Lbs That I Want to Lose, but I Just Can’t Seem to Get Rid of It.?

This 5 lbs is just kind of the difference between looking good and looking great. I eat very healthy and I exercise about 6 times a week (I’m both training for rock climbing and triathlon). I have to somehow reduce my calorie intake without affecting my training schedule. I already eat a massive amount of veggies and lean protein and whole grains.
Can anyone see where I’m going wrong? Should I start to eat my veggies raw? Should I just bite the bullet reduce calorie intake and just have shitty workouts for a while until I’m down?

I’m just so frustrated! I’m strong and active and healthy… I just need this little tiny layer of fat to go away!

Just eat watermelon all day a couple of days one week, you will lose a couple of pounds each day and it will flush your system as well of any toxins in your body.

Hard one as it seems you’ve picked up most of the quick wins. The paleo diet for endurance athletes by Joe Friel http://amzn.to/jSPQIW is popular and basically strips the grains out of your diet and takes you back to caveman days on a diet that we were evolved to eat.

The other approach is to consider where you have this layer of excess fat and work specifically on that area to improve muscle bulk or toning to get the right shape.

Pilates and core exercises would be the right approach here – and both would benefit your triathlon and rock climbing.
