As I only go rock climbing once or twice every 2 weeks, what are some ways I can stay fit for rock climbing?

    The best way to get and stay fit for climbing is climbing. Still, if that’s not possible there are good tools you can use to get your arms and fingers stronger. I have used a hang board made by Metolius that really gives you a good work-out. It has various holds and surfaces that work different muscles and tendons which you need if you want to build strength for hard climbing. On the other hand simple exercises like chin ups and sit ups build both strength and endurance. I have a bar that fits across a doorway that lets me do this in the house. Check it out…
